Born and raised in Montreal with North African roots, zi!’s love for music and dance came well before they stepped inside a nightclub. Very active in Montreal’s vibrant underground scene, she has been creating dancefloor euphoria through DJing as well as with event organizing, as part of Missed Connections (@missed_connections_radio) and of queer collective FLUSH (@arriverflush). Musically, their sets include an array of percussive grooves and sentimental breaks. zi! has played notable New York party Groovy Groovy as their US debut last year and will be playing around the US this summer. In Montreal, she has shared a bill with Ben UFO, Martyn, Jennifer Cardini, Kia, Commodo, Nikki Nair, and recently Reptant and Massimiliano Pagliara.
